A relaxed yoga class designed for teens. Through gentle movement and simple breathing practices, students learn to release tension, settle the mind, and take a break from the constant pace of their week.

$10 drop-in
$35 for a 4-class pass (valid through May 30)*

*Each student may invite a friend to join one class.

Summer on the Mat | Yoga for Teens

A weekly morning practice designed to build strength, steadiness, and focus, on and off the mat.

Offered June & July. Day & Time coming soon.

Quiet Morning Practice

Wednesdays • 10-11am • Beginning May 13th

A gentle morning practice centered in yin yoga, with elements of restorative yoga and Kundalini breath work. Longer, supported poses allow the body to release tension while simple breathing practices help awaken awareness and settle the mind.

This quiet practice offers a way to begin the day with presence, reflection, and connection to the breath. Each class concludes with a short meditation.

An adult class for all levels of practice, including beginners.

The Evening Series

Tuesdays • 6-7pm • Beginning May 19th

The Evening Series offers a space for both practice and study. Each series explores a theme drawn from the teachings of yoga while also moving through a thoughtful physical practice.

Classes may include gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, and conversation as we explore ideas such as the Yamas and Niyamas or other aspects of yoga philosophy.

These series unfold over several weeks, allowing the group to return to the mat together and explore the material with curiosity and reflection.

An adult class for all levels of practice.

Private Group Sessions

The Quiet Ground offers private yoga sessions for small groups who would like to practice together in a thoughtful and supportive setting.

Sessions can be shaped around the needs of your group. Some classes focus on relaxation and restoration, while others explore strength, mobility, or ways to calm the nervous system.

Private sessions may be arranged for workplace teams, athletes, dancers, groups of friends, or communities moving through seasons of healing and renewal.

These sessions can also be offered as part of retreats or other small gatherings.

Four- and six-week group series can also be arranged.

The Heart of the Practice

At The Quiet Ground, yoga is more than a class. It is a shared practice of attention. In a small and steady group, we move, breathe, and learn to notice more clearly what is happening in body and mind.

Some series include study alongside practice. We might read a book, explore poetry, share tea, and sit in conversation about how these ideas meet our lives on and off the mat.

Other classes focus on the foundations of practice, exploring poses slowly and learning how breath and movement work together.

Over time, something quieter begins to take root. As we return to the mat and to one another, a sense of community grows naturally.
